Investors starting activity in poviat can by supported by local business support institutions. There are 10 banks operating in poviat. There are also organizations of local business: Society of Producers and Traders of Powiśle Dąbrowskie in Dąbrowa Tarnowska, Society for Development of Olesno Gmina, Society "Center for development, Promotion and Innovation in Szczucin", Local Center for Entrepreneurship Support in Szczucin, Guild of Various Craftsmanship in Dąbrowa Tarnowska, Entrepreneurship Incubator in Szczucin which creates small and medium companies. In Szczucin area it is planned to set an Incubator Zone of Economic Activity.

As a proof of involvement of Dabrowa's Government in creation of conditions for entrepreneurship development, and new development opportunities, the poviat was awarded with the prize of "Crocow Ducat" in the category of local entrepreneurship creator.
