Location is one of the trumps of Dąbrowski Poviat. Poviat lies in north-east part of małopolskie voivodship. It covers the area of 527 km², including 408 km² of farming land. The poviat is inhabited by about 60 000 people.

The poviat is devided by the road no. 73 Kielce - Dabrowa Tarnoswska - Tarnów - Krynica. It is planned its modernization, which would enable to connect the poviat with the most modern border checkpoint on Polish south border in Konieczna. Both, the access to main roads and developed transportation network determine the attractiveness of investment lands. There are 863 km of roads with better surface in the poviat including 270 km of poviat roads. Density of roads calculated according to length per 1 km2 is high, and places the poviat above national average.

Technical infrastructure of the poviat is very good. All gminas in the poviat possess gas and water supply networks. The have also telephone and optical fiber networks. There are further investments planned in order to increase current infrastructure standards, first of all within the scope of sewage treatment plants.
